Bruno Roche Participates in G7 France’s Citizens’ Dialogue

Bruno Roche was invited to attend the G7 France Citizens’ Dialogue in Paris at Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers on 2nd July 2019.
He took part in a roundtable with Bruno Le Maire, French Minister of Economy and Finance, entitled ‘Towards a Fairer Capitalism’. The discussion centred on fighting economic inequality and the group’s conclusions were then shared with President Emmanuel Macron. Mr Le Maire began the conversation by saying ‘We need to build a new capitalism for the 21st century’.
The gathering helped to fulfil an important commitment of France’s 2019 G7 summit presidency – engaging key citizenship groups in decision making, such as youth, women, non-governmental organizations, trade unions, business, think tanks and the scientific community.
